How can HOSA help my students after high school?

HOSA provides opportunities for its members to explore career options, gain real-world experience, and take on a leadership role. The skills that HOSA helps its members develop are skills that employers are looking for in potential employees, and they're the skills that colleges and universities look for on applications.

How does HOSA fit in with my curriculum?

HOSA provides practical ways for your students to experience and practice what you are teaching them. Through HOSA’s program of competitive events, students have the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge through both written and role-playing events. HOSA also holds several conferences throughout the year that give its members an opportunity to have hands-on experience in the industry they're interested in.

Where can my chapter get the money to be involved?

Most schools use a combination of ways to fund their HOSA program. Members pay dues, and participate in fundraising projects. Several chapters are fortunate enough to have a school store that will help the organization, and many schools use Perkins funding for HOSA, which is an approved Career & Technical Student Organization.

Membership dues are $20 per person (students and advisors). The breakdown is $10 for national membership and $10 for state membership.
