The Michigan Health Council (MHC) has managed Michigan HOSA since 1998. The Michigan Health Council is a statewide, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1943 to promote health education, increase access to health care, and examine health manpower issues in Michigan. Founded through a cooperative effort of the Michigan Health & Hospital Association, the Michigan State Medical Society, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, MHC is dedicated to finding innovative solutions to common problems. Today MHC has successfully blended its creative, solutions-based approaches and technology with its solid network of relationships with key industry groups, academic institutions, government departments, and healthcare employers.
