Grand Traverse Resort Reservation Instructions and Approved Off-Site Hotels where Shuttles are Provided

• Grand Traverse Resort is collecting housing requests from ALL schools until February 13th, 2026.  Send your request to: ConferenceAccommodations@gtresort.com

These must include:

• School Name – priority # if applicable

• Advisor Name – an advisor/chaperone responsible for student conduct, group registration and distributing room key packets.

• # of rooms – please note that guest-rooms will be issued run of the house (ROH), with priority on grouping multi-room request locations together at the Resorts discretion.  Note if you’d prefer one bed or two or if you’d like to book a condo with up to three separate bedrooms.

• Billing Preference – Let us know if you plan to settle charges via CHECK or CREDIT CARD

• We advise schools to request a room invoice estimate along with their housing request to assist in expediting the funding approval process.  *These are estimates for accounting/budgeting purposes, subject to change based on actual availability of rooms and their respective negotiated rates.  These should NOT be considered official invoices and is NOT a confirmation of housing*   

~Here are the current negotiated rates for attendees of HOSA SLC 2026~

               HOTEL/TOWER GUESTROOM : $159++

               STUDIO CONDO : $164++
              ONE BEDROOM CONDO: $179++

               TWO BEDROOM CONDO: $226++

               THREE BEDROOM CONDO: $294++

• Reservations will be CONFIRMED via email (following the February 13th deadline), in order of school priority set forth by MI HOSA

• Once confirmed, we ask that full ADVANCE PAYMENT be remitted within 10 business days. Non-payment may result in cancellation. If paying via check, a valid credit card must still be presented in case of incidentals. The process for making the required advance payment and submitting your schools MI Sales Tax Exemption will be included in the confirmation email. – this will help ensure a smooth and hassle-free check in process for the large volume of student arrivals.

• When the Tower and Hotel rooms have been filled, remaining schools that have submitted their request by the deadline will be offered rooms in our condo locations at the respective negotiated rates for the group.

• All schools that have submitted a housing request to us should receive a notification confirming or denying placement or advising alternative resort options by March 15th !

Below is a list of approved off-site hotels that Michigan HOSA will provide transportation to and from Thursday morning until late Friday night. If you call and find out the hotel is full, can you please email Mark Burley (hosa@mhc.org) so that it can be taken offline?
